Terms and Conditions for Fast & Reliable Mobile Mechanic (FRMM)
By using or accessing any services offered by Fast & Reliable Mobile Mechanic (“Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please refrain from using our Services.
1. Scope of Services
- On-Site Auto Repairs & Diagnostics: FRMM connects customers to certified or highly qualified mobile mechanics who perform automotive repairs, diagnostic evaluations, and related services at a location of your choosing.
- Payments: All payments are made directly to the technician at the time of service. FRMM does not process or hold payments on your behalf.
2. Eligibility & Responsibility
- Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old or have the express permission of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
- Customer Duties: You agree to provide a safe, accessible location for mechanics to work, to make yourself available at the scheduled time, and to pay any required fees, including our standard $125 diagnostic fee (non-refundable if the technician cannot replicate your vehicle’s issue).
3. Non-Solicitation
Customers agree they will not solicit, hire, or contract mechanics outside FRMM for at least two (2) years following the initial introduction by FRMM. If violated, we reserve the right to pursue damages and cancel any applicable warranties.
4. Unauthorized Use
You agree not to use our website or communication channels in any unlawful, threatening, or abusive manner, including attempts to hack, scrape data, or undermine the legitimate operations of FRMM or our technicians.
5. Parking Fee Responsibility
If a service requires the mechanic to enter a paid parking facility, you are responsible for any parking fees incurred during the service.
6. Cancellation, No-Show & Refunds
- Cancellation (>24 hours prior): Free of charge, full refund (if pre-paid arrangement was made).
- Cancellation (<24 hours prior): $99.99 cancellation fee.
- No-Show Fee: If you are not present or responsive within 15 minutes of the scheduled appointment, a $99.99 no-show fee applies.
- Same-Day Service: Any same-day priority service fees are non-refundable.
- Work Stopped Midway: If you halt work after it has begun, the full quoted amount remains due.
7. Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses
If the mechanic arrives at an incorrect or incomplete address provided by you, and the service cannot be performed, FRMM may cancel the appointment and assess a no-show fee.
8. Incorrect Parts Supplied by Customer
If you supply incorrect or incompatible parts, the mechanic may charge a minimum of 25% of the labor cost or one (1) hour of labor (whichever is higher) to cover lost time and effort.
9. Limited Warranty
FRMM offers a limited warranty for repairs performed by mechanics we connect to you; details are available upon request. Unauthorized or subsequent third-party repairs void any FRMM warranty. Body work is provided “as is” and may not match factory conditions exactly.
10. Pre-Purchase Car Inspections
These inspections are non-invasive and do not guarantee vehicle condition. FRMM does not assume liability for undiscovered issues or any changes that may occur after the inspection. You remain solely responsible for decisions to purchase or not purchase a vehicle.
11. Disputes Over Amounts & Legal Action
- Collections: If you dispute a charge unsuccessfully, FRMM reserves the right to pursue collections or legal action for owed balances.
- Arbitration or Small Claims: Except where prohibited, we may require disputes be settled via arbitration or in small claims court in Palm Beach County, Florida.
12. Liability for Third-Party Diagnostics
If you rely on an external mechanic’s diagnosis before contacting FRMM, we are not liable for errors, omissions, or failures in that prior diagnosis.
13. Partial or Declined Services
- Partial Service Orders: If you select multiple services but complete only some, no refunds or credits apply for omitted services.
- Declination On-Site: Should you decline service once the mechanic has arrived, the full service amount remains due.
14. Service Timeframes & Delays
We attempt to meet scheduled service windows but do not guarantee exact times. Unforeseen delays, including traffic or prior job overruns, may occur. FRMM is not liable for losses resulting from timing delays.
15. Ownership & Intellectual Property
All content on FRMM’s website or in our communications is owned or licensed by FRMM. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited.
16. Limitation of Liability
All Services are provided “as is.” FRMM makes no guarantees of uninterrupted or error-free service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Your sole remedy is to discontinue using our Services.
17. Governing Law & Venue
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Palm Beach County, Florida.
18. Enforceability
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remaining sections remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.
19. Entire Agreement & Assignment
These Terms and our Privacy Policy represent the complete agreement between you and FRMM. You may not assign your rights or obligations to any third party without our written consent. FRMM may assign its rights or obligations without restriction.
